The on-board charging module is a key component in the charging process of new energy vehicles, responsible for the conversion between electrical energy and power batteries. It mainly consists of a charger, a battery management system (BMS), and a communication interface. The charger is responsible for accurately converting AC or DC electricity in the power grid into current and voltage suitable for battery charging; BMS monitors the charging and discharging status of the battery in real-time to ensure safe and stable operation in all aspects of the battery; The communication interface is used to exchange data with external devices such as car chargers and charging stations.
Rubber Seals are indispensable in new energy batteries and charging modules, and the alignment requirements are also very strict. A new energy battery production enterprise found Tianyu Rubber through a friend's recommendation and wants to customize rubber seals for 5-10 types of batteries and charging modules.
Our engineer Yang communicated with the customer, repeatedly confirmed their needs and technical requirements, and finally learned that the customer requires rubber seals to have waterproof, dustproof, insulating, flame-retardant and other properties, as well as acid and alkali resistance, low compression permanent deformation rate, and resistance to cold and hot impacts.
After repeated communication and testing with the customer led by Engineer Yang, the final product meets the customer's requirements. The rubber sealing rings of multiple batteries and charging modules of the customer can meet the requirements of IP68 waterproof and dustproof level, and withstand cold and hot shock (-40 ℃ to 120 ℃) for more than 500 hours without leakage. It meets the functions of waterproof sealing, dustproof, insulation, flame retardant, and also meets the performance of acid and alkali resistance, low compression permanent deformation rate, and cold and hot shock resistance.
